Dr. Nakul Parashar is a General Adult Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (RANZCP) and Royal college of Psychiatrists UK with both General and Specialist registration. He is also an international Fellow of American Psychiatric Association and Associate Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
Dr. Parashar is a Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Queensland.Dr. Nakul Parashar has been practising Psychiatry for over two decades and has worked both in the public and private sector. He has a varied and diverse educational and professional background which includes practising in varying locations, cultures and countries having received his medical education and training in different countries including former Soviet Union, India, United Kingdom and Australia.Dr. Parashar has extensive clinical experience and have developed expertise in managing patients on a broad spectrum incorporating bio-psychosocial and recovery focused approach.Dr. Parashar believes in a therapeutic relationship based on trust, collaboration and respect, promoting self-sufficiency and resilience.
